Do you find your mind wondering during the day?

Like daydreaming of being in a totally different place, doing something totally different than you are doing?

Those moments when you ask yourself if what you are doing is really the thing you are supposed to be doing? Maybe you may be asking yourself if this is it, if this the PEAK of your career, of your dreams, of your aspirations and ambitions.

MAYBE you have reached YOUR FULL POTENTIAL.

But is it really meant to feel this way? No, wait, this is the COMFORT ZONE. Yes, that zone everyone is talking about when you reach that level where you don’t need to overthink what you say and are confident, and your mind wonders during conference calls or in meetings or debriefing on a project that is way too similar to the one you did before, but you have to show some enthusiasm because you have new projects, people want to work you and wait ….

This time is different because you get TO DELEGATE! It’s that FREEDOM that it’s not you typing all the project, you just get to REVIEW it and meantime you can get back to your day-dreaming. Only to come back to the reality when the REVIEW means actually, REWRITING from scratch all project (because maybe the person to whom you have delegated was also daydreaming).

Does anything of this sounds familiar?

Reaching your full potential, it’s a very vague and subjective phrase. Because everyone can derive a different meaning. But most importantly, how do you know when you have reached your full potential? And what happens next?

Living your full potential it’s about reaching that state of mind where you feel ready and resourceful for pursuing what is most important to you and you are confident to get it. And definitely living your full potential doesn’t equal being in a state of plateau or stagnation.

I was curious to search what is the given definition of potential and the Cambridge dictionary defines it as:

“possible when the necessary conditions exist” or

“someone’s or something’s ability to develop, achieve or succeed”

So it seems that the centered theme around full potential is to be at that high capacity that would help you achieve your success. And if I may add to that, achieve sustainable and long-term success. I believe we all know or have felt successful, had a taste of it, a glimpse of it, only to have it go away.

Do you know how to recognize when you are living your full potential? Or that you are NOT living from your highest place of resourcefulness?

Here are a few of my findings that might help you in your reflection:

🔋You experience a sense of flow in your day, you are confident of the work you are doing, you are present and centered (you are exactly where you are supposed to be);

🔋You have energy and positive mindset and the day flows with ease (you don’t push yourself through the day)

🔋You experience a sense of purpose in what you are doing, and work done leaves you energized and not drained

🔋Obstacles don’t seem unsurmountable but are challenges you are open to learn from

🔋You feel you are learning and growing, and each situation is either a success or a learning opportunity

🔋You can recognize your priorities in a busy day and making choices doesn’t create inner conflict because you know your values

🔋You can take credit for your work and recognize where you could have done better

🔋Your actions are dictated by being in service of others and not hiding your flawed self (questioning your skills and competencies, fear of failure, perfectionism)

🔋You recognize your limits and what you need to be in the best mental and physical shape and act accordingly

🔋You show compassion towards yourself when you are not consistent rather than experiencing self-guilt and insecurity

In how many of these points to you recognize yourself?

If you recognize yourself in most of them or even you have more, please do share these in the comments and inspire others with your positivity!

If not too many, no worries, there is always a chance to remedy that and become aware of how to achieve your full potential.

I can help you to get clarity on where you are today and what stops you from living your fullest potential so you can start taking action and experience a life with more energy, awareness and inner peace for daily choices and how these fit into your bigger goals.

Because you deserve knowing at which level you are experiencing your life today and what you might actually be missing out.

You can always contact me for a conversation on what it means for you living your full potential and how I can support you with that. It’s transformational !
